Hillside Chritian Academy Elementary School

Elementary School

Elementary studies include reading, math, English, spelling, health, safety, social studies, science, handwriting, and art. Teachers blend Bible study into their everyday academics. To enrich the curriculum and broaden their learning, we also introduce a foreign language (Spanish). Once a week, elementary students have music class, where they are introduced to musical notes and instruments and sing songs of Praise. The students also partake in PE (physical education) weekly to stay happy and healthy.

Every day begins with pledges and prayers. Our vision is that students start incorporating the Bible into their everyday lives. The Bible and Bible-related subjects are important daily subjects and are included in their final grade (GPA). Children and teachers have the opportunity to sing hymns and pray together every Wednesday during the weekly Chapel service. During that service, they will also hear a message delivered by a special speaker. Parents are encouraged and always welcome to attend chapel services.
